SML Mahindra Launches Hiroi BS6 School Bus in Nepal

Laxmi Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of SML Mahindra vehicles in Nepal, has officially launched the new Hiroi BS6 School Bus during a customer meet held in Surkhet.

The launch ceremony was jointly led by Suman Nagpal, Country Manager for Nepal at SML Mahindra Limited, and Sanjay Khadka, Sales & After-Sales Head at Laxmi Commercial Vehicles.

According to the company, the Hiroi School Bus has been introduced to offer educational institutions a safer, more modern, and reliable transportation solution.

It is available in 36 to 56-seat configurations, meeting the Government of Nepal's regulations for school buses and allowing schools to choose a model that best fits their requirements.

The Hiroi BS6 School Bus complies with BS6 Phase-II (OBD-II) emission standards and comes equipped with several advanced safety and efficiency technologies.

These include Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist, an Electronic Hydraulic Control Unit (EHCU), a Multi-Information Meter Cluster, a Gear Coaching System, and Power & Economy driving modes. Together, these features are designed to improve vehicle stability, fuel efficiency, and overall driving performance.

The bus also offers spacious seating, an upgraded suspension system, low operating and maintenance costs, and strong fuel economy. Laxmi Commercial Vehicles says these features make the Hiroi School Bus well suited for the daily transportation needs of students across Nepal.

Alongside the product launch, the company used the customer meet to engage with fleet owners and business partners, highlighting its after-sales network, genuine spare parts availability, technical support, and future business plans. Attendees also shared positive feedback on the new school bus and the company's customer support services.

Laxmi Commercial Vehicles stated that it will continue to strengthen its presence in Nepal's commercial vehicle market by offering reliable products, dependable after-sales support, and mobility solutions tailored to local customer requirements.
